Eastern Market Street Photography 7-16-16

OtherSTREET PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP â€" BARRACKS ROW TO EASTERN MARKET Join us in another historic Washington, DC neighborhood as we learn the art of street photography and street portraits. We will start at Barracks Row and capture its Main Street charm, weave our way through some of the Capitol Hill neighborhoods, and finish at bustling Eastern Market.  Come prepared to find plenty of photo ops and storytelling opportunities.   The decisions that create great street photos At the moment, you think you have found an interesting scene, you have several decision points. Is that a good photo opportunity? If not, what would make it a good photo? How should I go about taking it? Should I let them see me or not? If they have seen me, what should I do? Am I making the one mistake most amateur street photographers make? At any one of these points, or many others, you might freeze up and abort. During this workshop, you will learn how to engage. YOU WILL ALSO LEARN: How do you choose a good scene on a busy downtown street? How do you get great shots in stealth mode? What techniques can you use to break the ice and get portraits of strangers? What are the steps for good storytelling of street scenes? What composition techniques can you use for more impactful street pictures? What are the legal and ethical considerations when photographing strangers? MORE BENEFITS  Maximum instructor to student ration of 1:10 Individual coaching as you work on your techniques Post your photos on our Alumni Blog  PRICING $79 for the first photographer $59 for the second and each other photographer who attends with you $39 for each non-photographer (no camera) who attends with you
