Help your students level up from video game player to video game designer! The Library of Congress in collaboration with the National STEM Video Game Challenge and the Institute of Museum and Library Services, invite teachers to attend a video game design workshop at the Library of Congress. Workshop participants will: Complete hands-on, minds-on, physical game design exercises Design original video games and modify existing games Play-test each other's games to provide feedback Learn how their students can participate in the National STEM Video Game Challenge After the workshop ends, teachers may complete their games using their free subscription to the Gamestar Mechanic™ game-based learning tool. Then they can submit their games to the Game Alley for others to play, review, and share.
